The Heath School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Cover Supervisor who, under the direction of teachers/senior staff, will provide in-class supervision of pupil learning, manage pupil behaviour and work under teacher's direction to produce suitable resources for cover supervision. The post holder would be expected to provide cover supervision for any absent teacher for up to a maximum of ten consecutive days, including the first three days of a teacher's absence.
Our school has been an extremely popular choice for students and parent/carers for many, many years. We are oversubscribed with over 1200 students on roll. Outcomes have been extremely positive, and students have moved on to achieve their aspirations. However, we do not pride ourselves only on our academic performance but on our student-centred approach and the range of opportunities we provide our students through our curriculum and through our extracurricular offer. That is The Heath Standard.
We care for our staff, as we care for our students. Their health and wellbeing is paramount, as we understand the pivotal role our staff play in the development of our school and its students. Our staff work incredibly hard, but equally, we work hard to ensure their work is as effective as possible.
Our facilities are excellent, and our students love to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop personally and further raise standards across the department. For further information on the post and why you should work at The Heath School then please see supporting documents, contact the school or even arrange for a visit.
An application pack and further details are available to download from the school website or by emailing the HR Administrator, Sophie Pepper-Jones. The Heath is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and the post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly the Criminal Records Bureau). Further information about DBS checks can be found at www.gov.uk/crb-criminal-records-bureau-check If you are shortlisted for interview, we will carry out an online search for information about you as part of our due diligence and commitment to safeguarding.
